Lauren Cardoso is a marriage and family therapist specializing in military families. She uses evidence-based techniques to help individuals, couples, children, and adolescents work toward their unique life goals.
Lauren worked as a therapist and floor lead in an inpatient mental health setting, and as a clinical team member conducting initial evaluations and creating treatment plans. She has also worked as a researcher at UCSD, evaluating the effectiveness of different mental health treatment techniques in the local community.
She received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in San Diego, and her bachelor’s in cognitive science from University of California San Diego. Lauren spends her time chasing her toddler around, honing her humor, and looking for the best tacos in town.
